Our time together includes four sessions combining conversation and poem-making, and culminates in a beautiful chapbook of your poems that will serve as a touchstone as you progress deeper into your own artistry and joy. • Kate's brand new EP of piano dances - jigs, waltzes, and sprightly tunes. This is one to put on "repeat" as total playing time equals about 11 minutes - but boy, they are JOYful, heart-lifting minutes!
  • The Irishy Girl gathers some of my favorite traditional songs in Irish and English, all of them special because they connect me to people and places I love.
  • The Harp-Boat  features poems about growing up in a fishing family on the Maine coast.  It is the winner of the Kulupi Press Sense of Place Chapbook Contest. SOLD OUT. Thank you so much for your interest in this book!  I'm looking into ways to have it re-printed.
  • Grow wiser, braver. and more useful this winter in this Celtic Wisdom School course - mentored by the world-building Cailleach and the world-healing Bean Feasa!

Join us to learn about the Cailleach, the hag of Irish tradition, and her human counterpart, the Bean Feasa or wise woman, whose insight and compassion save the day in many Irish tales. With their excellent example, we'll endeavor to become wiser, more discerning, clearer, more creative, and more deeply useful to our friends, families, and communities. We will conspire with the Cailleach in her world-building and world-tending, and as a group we'll become a conspiracy of Cailleachs as we embody her fierce vitality on our way to becoming as wise and useful as the Bean Feasa. Our time together combines video lessons and storytelling, materials drawn and translated from Irish folklore and mythology, and a weekly 90-minute gathering where the real fun, learning, and transformation happen. In addition, you'll be invited into a one-on-one correspondence with Kate centered around each week's powerful question. At the end of the course, you'll receive a pdf booklet of all of the course materials to keep. 9 January - 26 February 2023 Find out more about the course below.
  • A collection of beloved poems in English and Irish that I've set to music for voice, piano, and harp. In addition to the CD, please feel most welcome to download my resource book which contains the texts of the poems, biographies of the poets, and questions and ideas to spark your own poems.  FREE:  my gift to you!
  • Every hand that touches you Every eye that falls upon you Every mouth that speaks of you Let there be love
A song to bless and protect anyone at a fearful or vulnerable time.  I created this song for a little boy who had been taken into foster care, but it applies just as much to anyone going into surgery or treatment of any kind.  Really, anyone who is entering the uncertain territory of care by others would be helped by the reminder that they are held, loved, and blessed.  At some stage, that is all of us! Along with the song download, you also receive a lyric sheet which you can print or send with your gift (or keep for yourself).
  • A concise e-book guaranteed to light your spark and get you practicing! The book debunks old, crusty ideas that keep you from practicing, invites you into the warm circle of practicing artists, and offers practical and sometimes surprising suggestions for spicing up your practice routine. This is not your scary old music teacher’s vision of practice, rest assured. Whether you love to practice, feel burdened by it, or sometimes skip it altogether, there’s inspiration and empowerment for you here. Join the Practice Revolution!
