Hello, my friends!

You might have noticed that I am BUSY over on YouTube these days, posting a “long form” video each Wednesday and a short each Sunday. My channel sits at the crossroads where Irish folklore and tradition meets creative practice and encouragement. Click HERE to visit my channel if you’d like to see what I’ve been up to.

But I love meeting you here, too, so I thought I’d drop in to say hello and give a couple updates.

  1. Did you know that I’m hosting a silly, FREE gathering on Sunday, 29 September, 4-5 pm EST? If you’re a member of my Kate newsletter gang, you’ll receive the Zoom link that day. (And if you’d like to sign up, just click HEREΒ )
  2. I’m teaching “The Irish Supernatural” this fall and having so much fun with a wonderful group of eager students. This week they collected supernatural tales from their friends and families. If you’re looking for a good way to start a conversation or learn more about someone you love, ask them for a tale of the uncanny. Almost everyone has one, and often they are what I would call a “humdinger”!
  3. I have an appointment at a cat shelter for tomorrow. I am so excited that it was hard to sleep last night! I’ve missed Mish so much over these last months. Now, I know for sure that it’s time to bring a cat – or CATS – into this house to carry on the love and mischief that he brought to our lives every single day.

I’d love to hear how you are! Drop a comment below and give me an update when you have a moment. I especially love to hear your celebrations and wins so that I can cheer you on!

Happy Autumn, dear friends!
